 Parish Renewal
God Is! applied as part of the Sacramental Preparation Curriculum for the parents.
God Is! is an opportunity for parents presenting their children for the Sacraments to be renewed in their faith and to grow closer to God and their parish community.  As part of the curriculum, at least one parent is expected to attend God Is!  It is the perfect time to reach these hearts – the “homing beacon” drawing them back to the Church has been activated and there is a greater suppleness of heart.

 God Is! as a tool for general parish renewal.
All members of the parish should be invited to attend God Is!  The day will propose our Triune God as the answer to the basic questions of life.  It will facilitate a renewed relationship with God.  It will reintroduce the Sacraments as a necessary source of spiritual “food for the journey.”  The shared experience of God Is! will promote friendship and strengthen the parish community.

Is God Is! right for your parish?
How many families are “registered” in your parish?  How many of them receive our Lord in the Eucharist at least weekly and receive the Divine Mercy offered through the Sacrament of Reconciliation regularly?…  We can help!

How many “Baptized Catholics” walk through the doors of your parish weekly, occasionally or even twice a year?  How many of these embrace the “fullness” of faith residing the Church?  How many of these (even the “weekly Mass-goers”) are on fire with the love of God? …We can help!

How many children receive Baptism, First Holy Communion or Confirmation in your parish every year?  How many of their parents frequent the Sacraments themselves, educate their children in the faith at home, or even cursorily support the faith formation of these children at home? …We can help!

SPIRITUAL RENEWAL FOR AN ORGANIZATION’S STAFF OR MEMBERS
Whether it be a parish or school staff, the employees of a business or organization, or the members of an organization (e.g. Knights of Columbus, Legatis, oblates of a religious order, a parents club, etc.), all of us need to be “re-evangelized” again and again.  We all need to hear the basic Gospel message and reaffirm our understanding of and love for the Sacraments.  And we need to grow in our friendship with others who are striving to walk the journey of faith.  God Is! meets these needs and helps foster a greater sense of community within the organization.

A ONE DAY RETREAT FOR COLLEGE OR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
God Is! can easily be implemented as a retreat for college or high school students.  It will help affirm the basic beliefs of these students and promote the Catholic faith and Sacraments as a source of needed support in these challenging years.  God Is! also helps these students develop friendship with others who want to embrace an ongoing relationship with God.  For this application, God Is! can be lengthened to include greater time for social interaction and the development of friendships.
